Sr. Cyber Integration Engineer

Deepwatch is seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the VP, MXDR Solutions Architecture. As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of various cyber COTS and FOSS SAAS AI software systems and applications within our organization to develop test ranges and new productized services.. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions that facilitate efficient data flow and communication between different systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, architects, project managers, and stakeholders, to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements and enhance overall system performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies and extensive experience developing integrations across SaaS applications. The role involves working with Splunk, JSON, OAuth2, OKTA, and CrowdStrike technologies to design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions. Experience with system engineering, architecture, Crowdstrike, and Cribl technology is preferred.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Develop and maintain integrations across SaaS applications
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure integration solutions, ensuring data consistency, reliability and security
  • Evaluate existing integration processes and systems architecture, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents
  • ​​Implement and configure integration tools, middleware, and APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability between systems
  • Lead integration projects from conception to delivery, including planning, scoping, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Perform thorough testing and debugging of integration solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior integration engineers, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot integration issues, resolve system conflicts, and optimize performance to meet SLAs and business objectives
  • Document integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps, ensuring knowledge sharing and maintainability of systems
  • Ensure integrations meet performance, reliability, and security standards
  • Stay updated on emerging integration technologies, trends, and best practices, and recommend adoption of new tools or methodologies to drive continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

  • Proven experience with 5+ years working as an Integration Engineer, Systems Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing complex integration solutions preferred 
  • Strong proficiency in JSON, OAuth2, OKTA, and CrowdStrike technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of integration technologies, protocols, and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth, SAML, ETL)
  • Hands-on experience with integration middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel) and enterprise integration patterns
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, and experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell)
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience deploying and managing integrations in cloud environments
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OKTA Certified Integration Developer) are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred

ITAR Compliance

For applicants in NYC, CO, CA, RI, and WA, the salary range for this role is $120,000 to $180,000+ stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
