Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Security Analyst or User Activity Monitoring (UAM) to join our Team in Washington, DC metro area to support our government client. As a Intermediate Security Analyst, you will provide support for onsite Insider Threat support services providing immediate investigation and resolution. Your primary responsibilities as a Security Analyst will be:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to other personnel to ensure cross-training while maintaining continuous performance.
  • Performs duties as directed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold U.S. Citizenship and must hold Active TS/ SCI clearance (or SCI eligible)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field is desirable, an advanced degree is also desirable.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in information technology.
  • Experience, or at least familiar, with User Activity Monitoring and Insider Threat tools
  • Experience applying analytical thinking and performing problem solving
  • Experience in administration of security products such as intrusion detection systems, antivirus, network security appliances, or secure configuration management
  • Experience contributing to the development and presentation of high value communication products (oral, written, presentation)
  • Familiarity or a desire to learn Linux
  • Knowledge of information security standards, rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality with desktop, server, application, database, network security principles for risk identification and analysis.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $120K to $155K.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
