  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into development processes, infrastructure, and applications.

  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.

  • Monitor and analyse security events and incidents, investigating root causes and implementing proactive measures to prevent recurrence.

  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to continuously enhance the company's security posture.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and security standards.

  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders on security-related matters.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role within security position, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry or scale up environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of security principles, protocols, technologies, and best practices, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing security solutions.

  • Expertise in cloud security architecture and implementation, particularly with Cloud Platform (preferably Google).

  • Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, and identity and access management (IAM) solutions, such as OKTA.

  • Experience in conducting security assessments, risk management, and compliance audits (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, DORA).
