Head of Cyber Security

Job Summary ***This is a remote position with occasional travel required***

The Position

As the Head of Cyber Security Business at Mainline Information Systems, you will play a crucial role in building and leading our cyber security business. This executive position requires a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity, a track record of successful leadership in the security and networking domain, and the ability to drive growth and innovation in a rapidly evolving landscape. Additional responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership:

• P&L leadership with an understanding industry trends and strategic vendors to align a nationwide strategy for Mainline.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive cyber security business strategy aligned with the overall goals of Mainline Information Systems.
• Identify emerging trends, threats, and opportunities in the cybersecurity landscape to ensure Mainline remains at the forefront of security and networking solutions.

Business Development:

• Drive the growth of the cyber security business through effective market analysis, client engagement, and the development of strategic partnerships.
• Lead efforts to expand Mainline's footprint in key markets and industries, fostering long-term relationships with clients.
• Working with Regional Sales Leaders to identify opportunities.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee the operational aspects of the cyber security business, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Development of service offerings that include; assessments to create and develop opportunities, consulting to help define, assess, implement customer's cyber security stance including controls, managed to help customers maintain a strong cyber security posture.
• Creating, maintaining and deploying content for: Customer demand and Sales enablement.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead and inspire a diverse team of security professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Managing technical resources - presales for certain, possibly billable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into all aspects of Mainline's business operations.

Thought Leadership:

• Represent Mainline as a thought leader in the cybersecurity community through participation in conferences, industry events, and engagement with relevant forums.
• Contribute to industry publications and share insights on cybersecurity best practices.

Client Advisory and Relationship Management:

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their security needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and driving business growth through client referrals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with the following attributes: 1) a thought leader in the cyber securities space, ideally with experience at a similar size company during a period of explosive growth; 2) deep understanding of the Cyber Security landscape, with a proven track record and clear examples of driving revenue; 3) a customer facing individual, comfortable in front of customers and communicating Mainlines value proposition; and 4) an excitement for the company's mission, comfortable and credible leading a high-growth business unit within Mainline.

Additional qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the security industry, with a focus on building and scaling the business within Mainline.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, risk management, and compliance.
• Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Visionary leader with the ability to navigate and lead in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• Physical environmental factors of this position include those found in typical business office environment or home office environment.
• Requires use of general office equipment and personal computer equipment.
• May be required to work irregular schedules including but not limited to as applicable: Nights, weekends, holidays, and/or on-call.
