Jr Security Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Security Analyst passionate about helping others who want to grow alongside MaintainX.

What you'll do:

Security Procedure

• Evaluate and recommend security solutions, technologies, and tools.
• Provide security awareness training to employees to promote a security culture within the organization.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.

Compliance

• Support MaintainX efforts for current and future compliance requirements to ensure information confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Monitor compliance tasks and assignments.
• Handle policy updates, both internal and external (privacy policy, terms and conditions, etc.).
• Responsible for the compliance tool and its integrations.

Sales Support

• Support the Sales team with potential customers on calls and other communications.
• Assist the Sales Engineering team regarding security questionnaires and RFPs.
• Keep up to date with markets covered by sales and ensure we understand and document compliance requirements.

SaaS Management

• Manage security services such as anti-virus, compliance management, security training, etc.
• Participate in the procurement process in evaluating the security of new services.
• Ensure that SaaS configurations meet MaintainX security standards.
• Help in the monitoring and review of shadow IT.

Secure Development

• Support the Engineering team during project scoping and execution.
• Manage and monitor SAST and DAST solutions.
• Supervise the bug bounty program.

Incident Response

• Assist the incident response process
• Collaborate to the improvement of the incident response process
• Participate in post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement.

About you:

• 2+ years of Security Analyst experience
• Experience with managing security solutions such as Anti-virus, SIEM, Compliance software
• Experience in supporting multiple SaaS platforms
• Experience in implementing and
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with the implementation of security solutions
• Experience in network and wireless technologies
• Ability to prioritize tasks when under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Extra consideration for candidates with the following:

• Experience with Google Workspace, Mobile Device Management solutions
• Experience in secure development practices
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to less technical users
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts and software
