Come be a part of an exceptional team of highly skilled professionals that help support key Federal Government and Department of Defense initiatives!  You will have the opportunity to work with Software Developers, Program Managers, Cyber Engineers, and IT expert team members delivering a wide variety of capabilities to our customers. The Noblis ESI Intel team develops, plans, and delivers emerging solutions ensuring the highest quality products are produced and implemented across a wide variety of federal government customers.  This is your chance to be an active participant in and learn the process of implementing information technology in order to instantiate a lab and then conduct testing for our government customers.    

 

The internship will provide opportunity to work with hardware, software, and network tasks to support the buildout of a new lab environment.  The internship will also provide an opportunity to learn about a future career as a network engineer and cybersecurity engineer building an understanding of DoD and IC Cybersecurity requirements, ICD-503, authorizations and accreditations, ConMon, etc. 

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Current Sophomore, Junior or Senior with studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields of study.
  • Demonstrated experience with Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, MacOS, UNIX
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of new assignments and the re-prioritization of existing assignments.
  • Ability to report to the Chantilly, VA office 5 days per week.
  • Agree to submit information to initiate a background investigation for a security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Basic hardware deployment:  assembly, set up, and connection of hardware in a network environment
  • Operating System knowledge:  Windows, Linux, MacOS, UNIX
  • Cybersecurity:  familiarization with scanning, auditing, intrusion detection
  • Cloud Computing:  basic platform knowledge, deployment, migration
  • Network operations and troubleshooting
  • Basic database entry/management and familiarization with Standard Query Language (SQL)
  • Soft skills:  communication, organization, problem solving, collaboration.
  • Proven results-oriented problem-solving abilities.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

 

Posted Salary Range

USD $22.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.
