Your area of work
As an Information Security Manager you will manage Eurex Repo's 1st Line of Defense activities enabling the business to operate in a secure and compliant manner. The role includes interacting with numerous stakeholders within Eurex Repo (incl. Eurex Repo's Chief Information Security Officer), the Eurex Group, and the wider Deutsche Börse Group. You will be an embedded part of a team within the Eurex Group, representing Eurex Repo, contributing to improvement measures, and implementing cyber resilience of IT applications, minimizing information security risks, and maintaining security documentation and processes. You will support to implement information security requirements into the IT organization, interacting between DBAG’s IT asset owners, Eurex Group, as well as first and second lines of defense responsible for information security.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Regular reporting of information security posture (1st Line of Defense perspective) to the Eurex Repo Management Board
  • Supporting the Eurex Repo Management Board in information security risk handling
  • Monitoring of security services and managing related outsourcing activities via the performance of the Business Owner role 
  • Coordinating IT application portfolio and classification process
  • Performing the IDP Coordinator role managing activities related to the individual data processing process
  • Interacting with numerous stakeholders within Eurex Repo, the Eurex Group, and the wider Deutsche Börse Group

 

Your profile

  • University degree or comparable qualification in Information Technology and/or Information Security 
  • Work experience in Information Security and Information Technology, preferably in the financial industry
  • Good understanding of the regulatory landscape and fulfilment of these requirements from an Information Security perspective and passion to extend knowledge in this area
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of teamwork, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, self-organization, flexible and self-motivated
  • Good planning, prioritization, and tracking skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; good German language skills will be an important asset
