Security Engineer - Permanent Nightshift

In line with our expansion, we are looking for Security Engineer with a passion for the crypto space. This position will provide overnight coverage for security information monitoring and threats management function in an efficient and effective manner.

Working time: 0:00AM to 8:00AM GMT+8 (Singapore Timezone)

What you'll be doing:

•  Proactively monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage the vulnerability remediation process.

• Investigate and analyze security incidents, determining root cause and leading containment and remediation actions.

• Lead or participate in incident response activities, following established procedures and coordinating with internal teams.

• Document security incidents, investigations, and resolutions for future reference.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, sharing knowledge with the broader team.

• Collaborate with security leadership to refine security policies and procedures.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in security operations or a related field.

• Must be available to Overnight shifts. Overnight shift: 00:00 A.M - 8:00 A.M Singapore Timezone. 5 days/week, including weekends, holidays, and OT if needed).

• Strong understanding of threat intelligence, incident response methodologies (e.g., NIST CSF), and security best practices.

• Experience working with SIEM and security information and event logs (SIEL) tools.

• Experience with vulnerability scanning and assessment tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
