Job Description

In this role; I work with the Head of Threat Intelligence and investigations supporting investigations and legal processes through the forensic acquisition and preparation of data from Tesco systems. Also a subject matter expert in the various systems and platforms used by Group Security & Resilience(GSR) who as an administrator helps to configure and manage the systems to allow colleagues to make best operational use of the assets
- Working in collaboration with the UK based Forensic Investigation Managers to collect end point or network data using forensically sound collection; handling and chain-of-custody procedures to support investigation or litigation requirements
- Ensuring all activity is compliant with legislative requirements and international standards of good practice
- Analysing; interpreting and validating data extracted from computers and similar devices and presenting to investigators or legal teams in a clear and usable format
- Transferring recovered data to e-discovery platforms and supporting colleagues in the use of such tools to achieve best results
- Acting as a system administrator for the various platforms used by GSR; supporting configuration; system changes; data management and file transfer
- Keeping up to date with developments in the field of Digital forensics
-Represent Talent Acquisition in all forums/ seminars pertaining to process; compliance and audit
-Perform other miscellaneous duties as required by management
-Driving CI culture; implementing CI projects and innovation for withing the team

Law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies

Experience relevant for this job:
- 5 years experience providing digital forensic support to investigations or legal processes in a corporate or law enforcement setting (or a combination of both)
- Holds a recognized digital forensic qualification such as GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) or EnCE or EnCEP

Qualifications

- Experience of working remotely within diverse cross functional teams
- Good influencing and communication skills and the ability to operate with confidence at all levels of the business
- A keen awareness of operational security
- Experienced in the use of a case management system
- Able to provide advice and guidance to others; based on your knowledge as a subject matter expert
- A high degree of interpersonal and oral skills along with the ability to deliver concise and accurate reporting
