ABOUT THE JOB

Sanofi Cyber Security is looking to strengthen its capabilities to support the digital fast-paced transformation in an heterogenous landscape with critical business priorities and new technological challenges. Based in Lyon, you are part of the Global Cyber Security team within the Digital organization. You will work in a team of technical experts with a global and transverse scope in close partnership with all Digital teams and external parties.

The Cyber Security Data Science Catalyst is responsible for defining and implementing the Sanofi security posture on several scopes

• Automation: To enforce and sustain the Cyber compliance on all endpoints. Develop remote inventory, monitoring and auto remediation capabilities
• Data: Enrich and support our Cyber Data Lake (Security Data Hub). Contribute to the architecture design for our next evolutions
• User interfaces: Working along with an external partner developing the UI/UX and core code. Taking in charge the development of minor evolutions through sprints (Agile) while driving the delivery of major versions with our partners

Furthermore, you need to have an appetite for progressively expanding your scope to step into new development areas such as

• Gen AI: Our ambition is to include AI to improve our capabilities with predictive risk information while making Cyber an actionable and user centric self-service
• Cloud Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Power Apps, other Cloud oriented codes. To be responsible for automation, configuration compliance, orchestration, and other IT processes, including adding new features, fixing bugs, and updating code in different community repositories
• Web Development: responsible for the coding, layout, and innovative design. This includes building from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and functions

Main responsibilities

• Develop capability to Cyber team to leverage automation for remediation or compliance activities (Workstation, Servers, Databases, Cloud, Containers, Network devices, etc.)
• Develop, maintain, monitor security indicators and dashboards to manage security risks, track deviations
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, development, test, release and support) and scalability
• Develop APIs to support interconnexions between solutions
• Write well designed, well-architected, testable, maintainable, efficient code by using best software development practices with best performance and user experience
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Collaborate with the different teams and third parties: External Support partners, infrastructure teams, Cyber Security Operation Center to develop the right security solutions

ABOUT YOU

Minimum Qualifications

• Programming Experience familiar with modern programming frameworks, languages, tools and software development lifecycle management
• Programming experience with applications and codes such as .NET, C#, Rust, PHP, ASP.NET, Java, modern HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Swift, Shell script, PowerShell, Python
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Welcome both engineering and maintenance tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Unix, Windows & MAC OS, Android, iOS
• Familiarity with the JSON/XML formats
• Good experience in SQL server and creating reports and dashboard in PowerBI
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, data structuring, Object Oriented Programming
• Excellence driven and ability to work and thrive in a global and multi-cultural fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and up to date with the newest technologies in the Dev space
• Ability to respect commitments, deliver concrete results, handle multiple priorities, increase value delivery by continuously improving security processes and solutions
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and effective listener
• Accurate, rigorous, and yet open mindset in approach with strong interpersonal skills to foster and maintain collaborations, promote the subject of Cyber Security at all levels of the organization

Desired Qualifications

• Experience or appetite on Mobile App development (UI/UX, iOS and Android). An experience with React Native & Symfony Frameworks would be a plus
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Experience or motivation to learn Infrastructure automation solutions: Ansible Tower, Ansible Works AWX and Terraform (Azure and AWS)
• Familiar with all aspects of IS/IT Security (governance, policies, processes, technologies & tools, incident management)
• Strong ability to make trade-offs and decisions
• High level of autonomy, strength of proposal and rigor to deal with and bring matters to fruition
• Professional demeanor, team player who works well with internal teams, vendor, and cross-departmental partners
• Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub
• Familiar with Agile approaches and techniques
