Are you a self starter looking to build your career in cyber security?  Join the crew where disruption is inspired by mission.  Here, you’ll develop the programs that serve our crew and investors worldwide.  You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining cloud security platforms. 

You will also have the opportunity for exposure to different areas in Enterprise Security & Fraud (ES&F) to further build your acumen and expertise.  Mentorship, growth opportunities, and projects will allow you to develop your skillset and set the path forward towards a successful journey at Vanguard.

As a Cloud Security Engineer (early talent), you will:

• Implement, and deploy security cloud platforms to support and mitigate security threats, risks and technology vulnerabilities. Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
• Provide intermediate level technical support and monitor security technologies efficiency through the use of monitoring tools and applications. Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of cloud software and infrastructure platforms.
• Share insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative, supportive environments.
• Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders and peers.
• Meet regularly with your department manager and a mentor to receive personalized coaching.

What it takes:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required 
• Strong interest in web, mobile and/or application development 
• Experience with coding languages (and data analytics if interested in our Identity Analytics role)
• Foundational Excel skillset preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred 
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations.
• Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment.
