Responsibilities

TECHNICAL SKILL SETSAzure Security Services:Proficiency in: Azure security services such as Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, Azure Active Directory (AD), and Azure Sentinel.Understanding of: Azure security features and capabilities for protecting data, identities, applications, and networks.Authentication and AuthorizationExpertise in: Implementing secure authentication mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and conditional access policies.Understanding of: OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols for authorization and federation services.Ability to: Configure and manage Azure AD B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) for external identities.Entitlements ManagementSkills in: Managing user entitlements and securely provisioning access to resources.Experience with: Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Just In Time (JIT) access to minimize risks associated with elevated permissions.Knowledge of: Entitlement management tools within Azure to automate access request workflows, reviews, and certifications.Security Monitoring and Threat Detection:Proficiency in: Configuring and using Azure Security Center for threat detection, security monitoring, and security incident response.Experience with: Azure Sentinel for security information and event management (SIEM) and advanced threat detection.Data Protection and MaskingUnderstanding of: Data encryption techniques for data at rest and in transit within Azure servicesExperience with: Azure Key Vault for managing cryptographic keys and other secrets used by cloud apps and services.Proficiency in: Data masking techniques and tools to anonymize sensitive data, ensuring that it remains inaccessible to unauthorized users while maintaining its usefulness for analysis and processing.Automation and ScriptingProficiency in: Scripting and automation tools (such as PowerShell, Azure CLI) to streamline security tasks.Ability to: Automate compliance and security deployments using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
