Description:

Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Microsoft Azure Security & Cloud Engineer to help improve their Azure security score and environment. You will be working with the IT vendor management and IT director to assess, remediate, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and applications. You will also be responsible for managing security alerts and providing recommendations for best practices.

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Security tools and features, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Policy, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services and resources, such as storage accounts, network security groups, virtual machines, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure landing zones.
• Experience with legacy applications in addition to lift and shift cloud migrations.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator certification or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect certification or knowledge is an asset, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the internal IT team and vendors.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow change management processes.
• Ability to work remotely, within Canada, with flexibility with different time zones.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
