Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer at Ajaib, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and privacy of our systems and data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, design and implement security measures, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Identify security vulnerabilities and risks in our systems and infrastructure.
• Design and implement security measures to protect systems and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure applications and systems are secure by design.
• Perform security assessments and penetration testing.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a security engineering or related role.
• Strong knowledge of web application security and secure coding practices.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and management tools.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies (e.g., OAuth, SAML).
• Experience with cloud security and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP).
• Ability to perform security assessments and penetration testing.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
