PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer Sr to join our dynamic team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer Sr, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing cybersecurity initiatives within our organization. You will be responsible for leading a team of cybersecurity engineers, coordinating their efforts, and ensuring the successful execution of projects aimed at safeguarding our digital assets and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for the organization's networks, systems, and applications, ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices.· Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in the organization's infrastructure and recommend remediation measures.· Monitor security systems, detect security incidents, and respond to security alerts in a timely manner to mitigate risks and minimize impact.· Lead and participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery, following established incident response procedures.· Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).· Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and best practices.· Cloud technologies such as enterprise cloud computing (EC2) instances, Simple Service Storage, containers.
Requirements:
· 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on security engineering.· Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.· Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and endpoint security solutions.· Hands-on experience with network security, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.· Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.· Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC certifications are highly desirable.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Required Qualifications:
· ISC2 CISSP or Equivalent· Ten plus years’ experience with DOD or Army hardware/software and applications development, installation, maintenance, operation, and testing efforts.· Ten plus years’ experience in monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and performing corrective actions for Cybersecurity IT systems.· Experience with Risk Management Framework, vulnerability assessments, Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) reporting, and cybersecurity problem resolution.
