Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Cyber Software Engineer to conduct Attack Surface Management (ASM) for ARCYBER.  Location:  Fort Eisenhower, GA.

Tasks include:

  • Conduct enumeration and assessments in order to identify, detect, and prevent threats and vulnerabilities to all publicly facing Army devices
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive capabilities document that outlines the capabilities and data collection required to enable the mission
  • Support the configuration, operation, and maintenance of analyst tools and capabilities associated with ASM mission.
  • Conduct continuous ASM discovery, inventory, classification, prioritization, and monitoring of Army cyber terrain. devices.
  • Maintain any outward-facing ASM information sharing mechanisms, such as a website or SharePoint portal.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Dashboard that identifies and provides situational understanding of Army cyber terrain.
  • Proficiency in network and system administration for identifying, assessing and mitigating security risks across an organizations' attack surface.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
  • A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including knowledge of attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
  • DOD 8140/8570 IAT II certification. Must be valid/current on day 1.
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph and MEAD.

Desired:

  • Effective communication skills to convey security risks to stakeholders, as well as collaborating with other teams to address security issues.
  • CSSP Infrastructure Support certification.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
