Summary of the role

We belong to Amadeus CISO (Chief Information Security Office), and we work hand in hand with security organization in Amadeus: Global Security Operation Center, Platform & Infrastructure Security Offices, Business and Technical Security officers, DevSecOps

The objective, as a Power BI developer in SEC-SPM team, is to contribute to develop the Security Posture Dashboard in conjunction with dashboard development & security analyst feedback.

A Power BI developer typically performs the following tasks:

• Understand the dashboard requirements and fair understanding of representing security vulnerabilities/findings in dashboard format.
• Design and develop data models, measures, and calculations using Power BI Desktop and Power Query.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot data and report issues
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders
• Capacity to perform in a challenging and agile atmosphere.

A Power BI developer should have the following skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and Power BI Mobile
• Knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and data analysis using Power Query,
• Ability to create and customize data visualizations, charts, graphs, maps, and tables using Power BI
• Experience in connecting to various data sources, such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, Azure, and web APIs
• Understanding of data security, governance, and refresh concepts and best practices using Power BI
• Good communication and presentation skills to explain and demonstrate data insights and reports.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python and other programming languages and tools that can enhance Power BI capabilities
• Understanding of database management systems and the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework
• Awareness of BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI) – desired

About the ideal candidate:

• Education: Graduate/Post Graduate with 6+ years’ experience
• Good hands on experience working on Power BI/ BI tools and developing dashboards.
• Experience on working in Agile software development such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Kanban, Scrum is a must.
• Business Understanding: Experience in security domain is a plus
