DevSecOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer at our Gurugram office to join our McCain Family! As part of the McCain Family, you will be part of an amazing team doing great things!

Reporting to the Director, IT Operations & Platform Support, the DevOps Engineer is a critical role, focused on reducing the risk for the organization by helping DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Architecture, and Software teams to implement and maintain cloud application and infrastructure security, maintaining, improving and automating the cloud security posture and security operations.

About the role
•    Working with cloud and security stakeholders and governance teams to identify, understand manage and address cloud and application security risks as they arise.
•    Collaborating with architecture, development and operations teams to integrate and automate security into the entire software development lifecycle.
•    Guide and manage application identity management, crypto and secrets/key management on cloud services and applications.
•    Managing security compliance and posture management across McCain’s cloud environments.
•    Develop, maintain and automate security testing for application and infrastructure deployments, leveraging SAST and DAST tooling.
•    Leveraging cloud enabled tools and technologies to conduct threat modeling and intelligence gathering. 
•    Embedding secure infrastructure configurations and policies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) 
•    Ensuring data security and privacy controls are embedded in services and applications throughout McCain’s cloud environments.
•    Collaborate with security operations and incident response teams to investigate and address security breaches or incidents.
•    Supporting Security Audits and Compliance Assessments
•    Collaborating with architects and engineers to help secure cloud networks including Azure Firewalls and Gateways.

About you
Candidates should possess a robust background in software development and cloud operations, coupled with extensive experience in implementing DevSecOps practices. Strong knowledge of cloud environments, containerization technologies, and security frameworks is essential.  Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) or GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA) certification highly desirable 
•    5 - 7 years’ experience in engineering roles 
•    1-3 years’ experience in Cloud administration/engineering on Azure or AWS 
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related field (or equivalent work experience)
•    Broad technical experience in application architectures, deployment methods and cloud native technologies and ideally with technical depth in Cloud platforms
•    Container Security, Docker, Java, Python, Scripting YAML , Microsoft DevOps, Terraform (IaC), SAST (Static Application Security Testing), DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) 
•    Customer service: experience working with users to understand and resolve issues.
•    Empathetic listening: the ability to convince the user considering what he/she is experiencing.
