About the role  
  

We’re seeking a Cyber Engineering Specialist who will focus on reducing our security risks to our systems, information, and processes.

You’ll join an innovative team that maintain integrated, automated, and effective controls to detect and prevent threats.

As our Cyber Engineering Specialist, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.  

Day-to-day, you will:  

• Implement security capabilities as part of projects and major programs e.g. zero trust capabilities, forward proxy, web application firewall, data loss prevention

• Support and monitor security capabilities

• Proactively identify opportunities to automate

• Conduct technical security reviews

• Provide security consultation to projects and initiatives with respect to security platforms in collaboration with security design and architecture

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:  

• At least 5 years’ experience specialising in aspects of Information security

• Familiarity with security technologies that are commonly used to detect or prevent security incidents, with expertise and extensive experience on how endpoint security impacts user experience

• Knowledge of attack vectors, threat tactics and attacker techniques, both for on-prem and SaaS application

• Hands on experience with one or more of the following FireEye, Trellix, Zscaler, Imperva WAF, Proof Point
