The Opportunity:


The Cybersecurity Presales Consultant collaborates closely with sales teams, technical experts, and clients to design and propose tailored cybersecurity solutions. You’ll be the bridge between technology and business, ensuring that our clients’ security needs are met effectively.


You are great at:


1.    Customer Engagement:

  • Identify and analyze customer challenges and specific technical and business requirements.
  • Propose customer-specific solutions to address their business needs through OpenText Cybersecurity products adoption.
  • Create comprehensive solution scopes, including business cases, total cost of ownership (TCO), and return on investment (ROI) analyses.

 

2.    Presales Support:

  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concept to showcase cybersecurity solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and respond to RFPs/RFIs. Assist in closing deals by providing technical validation.
  • Articulate the value proposition of OpenText’s Cybersecurity portfolio.
  • Address technical inquiries and provide expert guidance to clients.

 

3.    Technical Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Understand OpenText’s cybersecurity portfolio thoroughly.
  • Translate technical features into business benefits for clients.
  • Assist in solution scoping, architecture design, and feasibility assessments.
  • Knowledge (preferably) of OpenText Cybersecurity technology and solution 

 

4.    Client Relationships:

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, IT managers, and security teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations on security strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to align security solutions with their specific needs and goals.

 

What it takes:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales role, preferably in the cybersecurity domain 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are advantageous.
