**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

The Senior Acquisition Specialist (SAS) is a key position who provides advice and consulting services establishing high level contract strategy and driving implementing strategic contract opportunities as part of the services to promote standardized management processes and procedures and integration of activities across the Cyber Security Division (CSD) to Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).  CISA leads national efforts to defend against cyber threat actors targeting U.S. Critical Infrastructure, federal and state, local tribal, and territorial (SLTT) governments, the private sector, and the American People.  The scope of the SAS’s duties includes acquisition of services for Strategic Planning and Analysis, Program and Project Management, Budget and Financial Management, Acquisition and Procurement, Program Analysis and Controls, Property Management, Data Integration, Information Technology Support, Administration and Communications, and cyber security and information technology research and review, analysis and assessments for use and interoperability with cyber security products and services by CISA stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all driving high level contract strategies and implementing contracting opportunities for CSD and development of strategies, plans, and compliance documents.
  • ACT1’s single point of contact for expertise in DHS acquisition and procurement policies, requirements, procedures, and best practices.
  • Leading, managing and coordinating ACT1 staff assigned for specific customer taskings accomplishment of SOW tasks.   Working with DHS and CSD staffs and personnel communicating, coordinating, and responding to projects and tasks developing acquisition documentation.
  • Supervising staff and personnel assigned and management of staff’s work.

 

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of program management experience in working in Program Offices and development of acquisition plans, strategies and analyses complying with DHS acquisition polices, requirements and practices.
  • Experience interfacing and communication with Senior Government Officials and developing/reviewing plans, reports, reviews, and deliverable products.
  • Experience developing, writing, staffing, approval processes, and coordination of acquisition documentation.
  • MA/MS Degree is relevant field.

  • TS/SCI Eligibility

 

 

Desired:

  • PMP and/or DHS Level III Program Manager Certification
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Cyber Security Background and Experience
