As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and reporting findings to detect both legacy and cutting-edge security vulnerabilities in enterprise environments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scope and perform penetration testing and vulnerability research on complex proprietary software and hardware for client services.
• Identify and assess vulnerabilities in systems and applications. This includes using both manual and automated testing methods to discover and exploit code flaws, misconfigurations, and insecure software.
• Stay current with cybersecurity training and knowledge by monitoring the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Write clear and concise penetration testing reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with security teams and assist in optimizing their processes.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of various operating systems and networks, particularly experience with Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or C++.
• Experience with penetration testing tools and frameworks like Metasploit, Nmap, and Nessus.

Functie-eisen

• Remote work limited to a maximum of one day per week.
• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Both freelance and permanent hiring options available.
• Ideal if you have experience in the banking sector.
• Residing in Belgium is preferred.

This is a long-term assignment.
