People are at the heart of our success, and we have a current opportunity for a Cyber Security Project Manager to play a key role in an Enterprise-wide Cyber uplift; supporting a pipeline of project initiatives managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple, large, strategic cyber security projects, encompassing both applications and infrastructure, which will require a high level of project direction and integration.  

You will need to understand the requirements and ideally have knowledge in Identity and Access Management. There are continuous improvement opportunities, so your ideas are welcomed as we evolve our technologies and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a strong and growing team in a dynamic organisation with development opportunities and exposure to many projects.  

This is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract position based in our Alexandria, Sydney HQ, with flexible, hybrid work options available. 

Key duties:  

• Full project lifecycle management, from concept into deployment  
• Monitor and control resources, revenue and capital cost against the project budget  
• Develop and control project schedules and planning activities to ensure timelines of project milestones are met  
• Ensure a Change Management plan is prepared, implemented, and monitored  
• Vendor management, managing the delivery of statements of work by third party vendors  
• Follow the Ampol project methodology to deliver projects and ensure a smooth transition to the target operating state  
• Contribute to improvements and further development of project management disciplines within Ampol IT Services  

About you:   

You will have proven expertise in project management, ideally with experience in Cyber and more desirably in delivering Identity Access Management project.   

• Degree qualified in relevant discipline (such as Business, IT, Engineering) or significant workplace equivalent experience.  
• Certifications in Prince2 or PMBOK or Scrum Master  
• Demonstrated experience working in a large matrix environment   
• Diplomatic, ability to work across both Business and IT teams  
• Demonstrated capacity of translating thought into action and being fully accountable for results  
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and their application
