Information Security Internship

About our group:

The team manages the intake, risk management, architecture, design, and compliance for all information security across seagate. This also includes cloud and evolving technologies such as GenAI.

About the role - you will:

•  
• creation of reports, organizing and analyzing information related to information security projects,
• programming related to automation of various tasks required by information security,
• understanding design and architecture of corporate systems including infrastructure, networking, software, cloud, and AI
• assisting in documenting meetings
• assisting in creation of various artifacts of design and development related to information security of various corporate projects

About you:

• Motivated, self starter
• Excellent interpersonal skills that will help develop relationships with peers and different members of the organization 
• Clear and effective communictor

Your experience includes:

• conversant in computer technology and able to program in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Past experience in programing is a plus
• Familiarity with networking and windows is a plus.

The estimated base salary range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area is: $21 -$37.50 per hour. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
