Who We Are

If you feel like Incident Response and Recovery hasn’t changed in the past 10 years, you’re not alone. Business operations aren’t just on endpoints anymore. It’s behind applications in Okta tiles, auto-scaling workloads, code repos, and sprawling data stores across one or many public clouds. At modePUSH, we’re focused on eradicating adversaries across our client’s entire digital footprint, and that demands a faster, nimbler approach to DFIR.

We’re looking to expand our IR Consulting Team with individuals driven to protect clients, eliminate threat actors, and build the next era of digital forensics and incident response for the modern enterprise.

Who You Are

You're a technical incident response leader with the war stories to prove it. You know what it takes to manage highly technical teams, validate consultant findings, and ensure that projects are meeting your exceptionally high standards for quality and accuracy.

While you're focused on developing others and building technical practices, you're not afraid of digging into the weeds. If you're honest, there hasn't been a case that's crossed your desk that you haven't been able to solve. Performing forensic investigations across Windows/Nix/macOS environments feel like that back of your hand at this point, and you're excited by the prospect of expanding your knowledge in cloud-native forensics.

Leading client conversations and managing escalations doesn't scare you. You understand what it looks like to support a client team that’s going through their worst professional days with confidence and empathy.

You’re insatiably curious and a builder at heart. Ultimately, you're looking for the right opportunity that lets you develop high performing technical teams and own the vision, people, processes, and technology for the next generation of enterprise incident response.

Why You Matter

You’ll be joining as the frontline leader for the Forensics and Incident Response practice, acting as senior management for all forensic activity at modePUSH. From ransomware to nation-state threats, you’ll be overseeing all cases across enterprise and SMB environments. Your voice will be shaping our technology stack, investigative methodology, and service offerings to deliver the best security outcomes for our clients.

We're scaling the incident response practice from the ground-up, and you're at the helm. It's time to put your stamp on how it should be done.

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience responding to threat activity at scale as an incident responder
  • Deep understanding of OS fundamentals, forensic artifacts, and network analysis
  • An unwavering emphasis on investigation at the highest level of quality
  • Experience building high performing teams in the incident response discipline
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to expertly lead, manage, and oversee projects with multiple consultants operating at a global scale
