The Headlines:   

In the role of Regulatory Compliance Specialist working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will be part of the Brewing Innovation and Quality Team.  You will ensure that the company follows all the local, federal, and international regulations governing the production and distribution of beverages. This includes staying up to date with the latest regulations and standards related to the manufacturing, and labeling, of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

 

This position reports to Sr Manager Quality Services Gov & Systems and works closely with Quality Leaders, as well as other cross-functional departments including Legal, Innovation, Procurement, and Capabilities, to ensure accurate nutritional and ingredient statement creation, implement new ingredients, new regulations and maintain the company's commitment to being the first choice in the market.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) understanding of global regulations and standards pertaining to our products.
  • Responsible for conducting research, interpreting/implementing regulatory guidelines or prerequisite programs, and ensuring compliance with any labeling requirements for new products/ingredients/brand acts.
  • Maintain and prepare nutritional labels, statements, and license/registrations for current and new product lines required by the regulatory bodies.
  • Act as the technical representative for Molson Coors in front of regulatory entities.
  • Identify and assess potential Food Safety and Quality hazards, vulnerabilities, and risks within the organization's processes, products, and supply chain
  • Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies, including preventive controls, monitoring systems, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal reviews and audits identifying gaps and opportunities in the current applicable standards, and creates new procedures when needed.

 

 

The Other Qualifications:  

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science OR equivalent experience (3-5 years) in the field of product compliance/regulatory within a manufacturing environment
  • You have the ability to interpret regulatory compliance documents and apply where applicable
  • You have a strong background in nutritional label development, ingredient statement creation and working knowledge of FDA, TTB and CFIA regulations.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
