What you’ll do
Directs research to provide data-based insights and recommendations regarding potential impact of incidents, escalation procedures, and accuracy of data by monitoring data collection from multi-channel information feeds; understanding quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources to determine business impact; reviewing data and using data to determine potential impact, risks, and escalation points related to business concerns; understanding similarities and trends of incoming and identified business disruptions or risk factors; and identifying root causes of data trends and developments and understanding their relations. Oversees and conducts investigations across multiple business segments by receiving and assigning allegations from a variety of channels; developing investigative theory; using specialized techniques to gather and evaluate evidence to perform analysis and reach conclusions; conducting and directing interviews of direct and indirect witnesses and presenting findings to business unit and law enforcement agencies; preparing investigative findings in a comprehensive report; identifying vulnerabilities and recommending process refinements; preparing reports and evidence to meet legal and regulatory requirements for presentations; and testifying to findings. Oversees the identification and communication of potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the business by directing a centralized intake resource for internal and external stakeholders; understanding the various types of requests from multiple sources; confirming evidence of new threats or fraud that could affect the business; communicating and providing expertise to the business on response protocol; and reporting updates to leadership. Supports the review and improvement of investigation processes by reviewing assessment data and identifying operational gaps; identifying opportunities to increase investigative capacity; researching and evaluating improvement areas for investigations; ensuring adherence to protocols, procedures, and policies; evaluating effectiveness of investigative practices, programs, and resource utilization; and developing recommendations for business process improvements.
