Guidewire Software’s Global Physical Security team is looking for a Global Security Operations Manager, who will be responsible for security operations of Guidewire’s AMER as well as a strategic global projects team member. This is an exciting role as Guidewire designs a contemporary security strategy support work from “almost” anywhere. The position reports to the Global Security Director.

Responsiblities

  • Manage day to day security operations for AMER
  • Site security analysis and coordination for corporate events in AMER, including office locations
  • Vendor relationship management of contractor guard force
  • Resolve issues via exceptional communication and systems - ticketing, email, message, in person
  • Develop, manage and train employees on AMER emergency response plans (remote/in-office)
  • Conduct policy and standards compliance checks and enforcement (Internal, State, Federal and other International regulations)
  • Partner with HR, Legal and Workplace to resolve safety and security incidents
  • Work with Global Director of Security to design and manage world class enterprise-wide safety and security programs, policies and procedures
  • Maintain and track statistics, KPIs, etc.
  • Conduct investigations using internal systems and interviews
  • Ability to see long term vision of safety and security strategy and programs
  • Manage and work with security vendors

Basic Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience managing contract guard services, security systems, event security management, environmental health & safety, security program implementation and emergency management
  • Experience managing people and processes
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Availability to support after hours as needed
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in developing security programs and event security management
  • End-user experience with AMAG Symmetry, Avigilon ACC and/or other systems
  • Security Certifications
