Junior Information Security Officer

We are looking for two new team members that will be working on two different activities within Junior Information Security Officer role.

Overall objectives

As a junior information security officer, you’ll be supporting the execution of information security governance, risk and compliance processes, and participate in areas of data privacy, awareness training coordination, incident management and user access management.

What you’ll be doing

Position 1:

• Play a part in coordinating BCP/DRP activities and performing field work for the BIA (Business Impact Analysis)
• Assist in the development, management and distribution of information security policies
• Support the team with internal control framework development, maintenance and alignment with compliance requirements
• Participate in information security risk management, development and implementation of security standards, procedures and controls
• Assist with client management aspects of InfoSec, such as client questionnaires
• Provide support for SOC2, ISO27001 and other certification/attestation activities, as well as internal/external audit requests

Position 2:

• Promote strong security awareness culture and assist with awareness trainings
• Support the execution of identity and access management processes 
• Assist with personal data protection activities
• Take part in incident management
• Administrative tasks within the department

 We’re looking for someone with

• 1+ years of work experience in an IT or information security related field
• General understanding of IT governance, risk and control concepts
• Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Any experience with SOC2, ISO27001 or other information security certifications/frameworks is a plus
• Any experience in an IT audit, risk, or compliance role is a plus
• Any knowledge/experience from the cryptocurrency industry is a plus
• Any experience with project management is a plus
• Any knowledge/experience in data privacy protection (GDPR and other privacy laws) will be useful
• An understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies and associated risks would be beneficial
