Reporting to the Senior Manager of Security Operations, the Security Analyst would be involved in security operations tasks related to network, cloud, server, workstation, and email security. The successful candidate will be involved in project work and day to day firewall support. This includes overseeing firewall administration, writing new firewall policies, and Web Application Firewalls. The work will also include troubleshooting issues with proxy services, antivirus, and network access control. The Security operations team ensures security policies are enforced. Analysis of suspected phishing emails and ensuring they do not pose a risk to the organization is a critical component of our work.

Role Accountabilities:

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals of all levels of a large organization in-person or remotely.
• Overseeing the Management and Administration of Firewalls
• Creating and Optimizing Firewall Policies
• Working with Project and Architecture teams on network security
• Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention
• Web Application Firewall (WAF) Policies
• Monitor Security Events in the SIEM and SOC dashboards
• Participate in Security Incident Resolution
• Ability to analyze phishing emails and prioritize the organization risk
• Antivirus support
• Web Proxy Support
• CASB Support
• Network Access Control (NAC)
• Active Directory and Group Policy Security
• Full Disk Encryption support
• PKI Administration
• HSM Administration
• Cloud Security
• Security Automation
• DNS Security

Requirements

• 5 years of related experience
• Knowledge of network security concepts
• Preference applied to those that have CISSP or GSEC certification
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Understanding of DevSecOps and the use of IT Automation pipelines
• Experience with Cloud Networking
• Understanding of Load Balancing
• Ability to prioritize work with competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication, Able to quickly translate complex technical information into common language for Stakeholders and Team Members.
• Dynamic individual with team player qualities: integrity, accountability, adaptability and motivation.
