The Opportunity:

As a Staff Security Engineer for the Product Security team, you will work with 6+ product security teams to protect and defend our products and infrastructure hosting our products. As a member of our team, you will engineer solutions to assess security, prevent attacks, remediate vulnerabilities and drive down risk at scale.

You will work with the product security teams to solve complex security challenges, drive company wide initiatives and assist in developing the product security roadmap and strategy. Our engineering team will work to build paved roads that establish secure-by-default configurations and secure baselines to ensure security by design and deployment.

You’ll join at an ideal time to make a big impact, the product is seeing very high growth, with many new features to build as well as a need for scaling up dramatically.

 

You Will:

  • Explore the security problem space and innovate solutions to solve systemic problems for production security, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, IAM, Cloud Security, Application Security and Supply Chain security etc
  • Create alignment between security engineering and internal product teams on the security path forward
  • Partner with internal product teams to provide security guidance, drive adoption of security initiatives and transform business needs into actionable strategy
  • Create and promote frameworks, patterns, and methodologies that reduce the risk across the company.
  • Participate in providing security design guidance for complex systems across the company

 

You Are:

  • Experienced with building cutting-edge solutions
  • Capable of designing solutions that scale to support a large set of teams and built production-ready services
  • From a strong product security background
  • Appreciative of the value of driving efficiencies through automation, orchestration, and partnerships with external teams
  • Experienced in talking to customers and designing solutions that meet their needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Obsessed about correctness and efficiency; you leave no stone unturned when reviewing documentation
