Threat Intelligence 
At Tessian, we are laser focused on protecting the human layer in email security and this means we’re looking for subject matter experts in this area.  In this role you will have a direct impact on Tessian products and be part of a growing cross-functional team working closely with Data Science and Engineering.  You will approach these solutions with a threat intelligence research background and will also work closely with the Head of Threat Intelligence.

We’d love to meet someone who:

• Has experience in a security-centric role, and loves to work with email centric data.
• Threat research/intelligence around emails and email delivered threats.
• Experience in investigating URL based threats such as phishing.
• Experience in investigating email based threats including attachments and malicious file decomposition.
• Investigations of domains and knowledge of DNS.
• Understanding of emails in general and associated RFCs.
• Wants to collaborate with engineers to build products, and ship features. 
• Enjoys “getting their hands dirty” by digging into complex operations
• Takes a high degree of ownership over their work
• Is a clear communicator with professional presence
• Has strong listening skills; open to input from other team members and departments
• Team player
• Love to be engaged in the conversation and is passionate about jumping in

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll get to:

• Working closely with our Inbound Product Team.
• Research model efficacies and fine tune them through labeling and other methods
• Research new ways to detect email based threats as models
• Research vulnerabilities in our Products
• Coding in python.
