Threat Hunting Specialist - Security Consultant

We are ADARMA, one of the largest independent security services companies in the UK. As a business formed and run by former senior security leaders, we know our stuff. Which is why our clients include 30% of FTSE 100 organisations from all industry sectors. This role is fully remote with some travel.


As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Threat Hunting Specialist to identify, analyse and distribute threat hunting activities to our SOC colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cyber Security professional who has real experience of threat intelligence to demonstrate their knowledge of this area whilst also developing their broader cyber security knowledge, and career, in a specialist security consultancy


Duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

  • Work with the support of threat intelligence analysts to identify, analyse and document threats
  • Document threat hunts and aid internal colleagues in how best to recognise and respond to a range of complex internal and external threats
  • Develop an understanding and constantly research upcoming threats from threat actors
  • Fully hypothesise and communicate threat hunting techniques

Requirements

  • Proven experience of working in a threat intelligence/threat hunting capacity
  • Experience of working within or with SOC’s
  • Previously used appropriate SIEM solutions (Splunk would be preferential) and threat intelligence platforms (Threat Connect would be preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with brilliant written and spoken communication skills
