What you’ll do
The Cybersecurity Program Manager will join a team of highly skilled, collaborative practitioners to guide projects that bring information security to the next level. You’re comfortable in both fast-paced team environments, as well as acting as a capable security advisor alongside senior business leaders.

In your first engagement with Kalles Group, you will help build and mature a security operations program by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage and shepherd security operations and incident response teams.

If you are passionate about information security, skilled in security operations and IR/SIEM environments, and have significant experience managing projects with technical teams, we want to speak with you!

Key Activities

  • Manage multiple security projects across security, engineering, and technical teams
  • Ensure follow-up of project deliverables in accordance with milestones and deadlines
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders representing the project’s activities
  • Build and manage work breakdown structure against project milestones
  • Manage project status, track project deliverables, and provide appropriate escalation and resolution of risks as needed
  • Provide recommendations to clients based on observed risks that balance security and business requirements
  • Lead advisory projects to develop security roadmaps/strategies, architecture guidance, compliance guidance, paths to certification, gap remediation, etc.
  • Regularly contribute to the advancement of Kalles Group’s cybersecurity practice

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Security
  • 4+ years experience as a cybersecurity practitioner, preferably in a client-facing role in security operations, SIEM, network security, incident response, or other relevant domain
  • 3+ years experience managing cybersecurity related projects and/or programs
  • Possess technical writing and communication skills
  • Show discretion when interacting with customers and vendors
  • Strong overall project management skills and ability to manage teams
  • Strong ability to build credible relationships across multiple internal customer groups
  • Proven track record of professional integrity and ownership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in executing CSIRP including developing and maturing plans and the daily operations/management of incidents
  • Experience in overseeing firewall change management and operational assurance for firewalls in Perimeter, Zone, and Zero Trust security models
  • Professional security certification, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSFP, HCISPP, CRISC, or CIPP
  • Professional project management certification, such as PMP, CSM or equivalent certifications
