About the Role

The main role of a Developer is to build the software and infrastructure needed to deliver and maintain a quality service for our clients. This includes working with other developers, designers, product managers, architects, and S2 members to ensure our product meets the needs of our clients. In all our work we should be considering the security of the product, our network, and our client's networks. Our goal is to protect and ensure a strong security posture for our clients. That includes our own company.

About You

You are a talented software developer with many of these skills:

• Enjoys solving technical challenges
• 3+ years of experience programming in Java
• Works well within a highly collaborative and functional team
• Experience using scripting languages such as bash and PowerShell
• Functional programming
• Analytical mindset
• Self-starter, driven to succeed

Previous security experience is preferred, but not required. We provide all the cybersecurity training you need during onboarding and on-the-job training.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with team members to deliver customer-facing and internal services
• Participate in the full software development life cycle
• Build well-designed, testable, efficient, secure code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Document and maintain software functionality

Security Requirements:

• Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with AWN’s Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of AWN business information.
• Background checks are required for this position
