QA Engineer (CyberSecurity)

We are looking for an experienced and driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. Acronis brings advanced cyber protection solutions for web hosting providers. As a QA Engineer at the Cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for tests execution (E2E, Component, Acceptance, Regression) and optionally developing automated tests. You will work with Architects, Developers, Cybersecurity Analysts to ensure high quality of all components.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute functional tests (automated and manual), report and process defects
• Design test suites and cases
• Collect comprehensive and relevant data for bug investigation
• Analyze customers' issues, investigate root causes, participate in technical discussions with RnD teams
• Communicate with product managers, developers, analysts to understand business and technical requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience as QA Engineer / Automation Engineer / Support Engineer
•  Knowledge of Quality Assurance theory: principles, methodologies and techniques
• Confident skills of basic Linux system operations, including software installation, network configuration, general troubleshooting
• Analytical mindset, ability to solve complex logical problems
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Upper-intermediate English

DESIRED:

• Knowledge of PHP v5+ language
• Knowledge of Linux security subsystems, tools and conceptions, including logging abilities
• Skills in configuring at least one of: web / application / database servers running on Linux/UNIX
• Background in web development or hosting support
• Understanding of common cyber attack techniques and methods; network protocols; vulnerability and configuration assessment
• Experience with virtualization, containerization and cloud technologies
