Currently, we are looking for a Security Officer who will have a mixture of technical, and non-technical information security risk experience. This is a permanent, full-time position - you can work remotely or in our Warsaw office.


Your responsibilities:

  • Gradually building and improving documentation needed by well-known cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001).

  • Helping document processes, procedures and solutions related to security

  • Ensuring implementation and compliance with legal requirements and compliance (including ISO27001; SOC2/3)

  • Supervising the security processes of IT infrastructure of ICT systems and services, databases and applications

  • Supervision over service providers in the field of ICT security

  • Active cooperation with administrators in searching for IT security gaps and threats

  • Document, investigate, and report cybersecurity compliance issues and incidents in reports from users and IT services

  • Work with leaders to ensure information security risk findings are reviewed and solutions are implemented, conducting trainings

  • Preparing answers for clients on the security area

  • Conduct internal security risk assessments and security compliance audits, consulting results and implementing improvements

  • Maintaining and improving typical registers related to data security (e.g. users and accesses, applications)

Requirements

What skills are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of solid experience in information security, technology consulting or IT audits

  • Understanding of security frameworks (e.g. ISO 270001, CPBIT, ITIL, NIST)

  • Very good knowledge of issues related to system security, IT solutions (including computer networks, web applications, operating systems, communication protocols) and security standards (eg ISO 27001, SOC)

  • Understanding of infrastructure components, technology risk, and related controls

  • Fluency in English along with excellent, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to “think big” and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups

Nice to have:

  • IT Security Certificates or readiness to achieve them (e.g: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+ or similar)

  • Experience or education in tools covering the following topics: compliance, audits, project management, task management
