Security Operations Engineer at Pollen is a new role giving an opportunity to shape the security strategy within one of Europe's fastest-growing scale ups. As the first Security hire within the Engineering team, you'll have a significant impact on driving our internal security strategy and building a modern security culture in an agile and cross-functional team.

In the first 12 months you will:

  • Working within the Platform Engineering team, create and execute a backlog of infrastructure improvements to build programmatically-driven security policies with monitoring & alerting.
  • You will use your previous experience and learnings to lead and shape Pollen's world class SecOps function
  • Champion security within the technology teams by increasing their understanding of vulnerabilities and remediation practices, encourage them to apply security thinking to everything they build. Empower teams to own their security practices through common tooling and automation, and hold them accountable to the outcomes
  • Own the security testing strategy of our products using both structured and explorative approaches to identify vulnerabilities and educate our teams about the impact and improvements
  • Collaborate with our internal IT function to implement and roll out a centralised identity & access management system and other company-wide security policies.
  • Maintain, review and improve our existing security practices within product & infrastructure teams

Your personal data will be retained by Controller as long as Controller determines it is necessary to evaluate your application for employment.
