The individuals who take on these roles will be working as part of the ContextIS MSS Security Operations management team within an established and busy team. Day to day responsibilities will include supporting the Head of Security  Operations in a combination of business support and service management duties.The role shall be responsible for production of materials for the preparation of bid responses, driving the direction of the departments governance and responsible for the overall client experience.Additional responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting on the technical and financial performance of the services to the client and Context management.Candidate is to base in the Edinburgh Office but expected to be able to travel to both the Cheltenham and London offices monthly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support RFP and BIDs
  • Support Head of Security Operations with Strategy and day to day operational delivery
  • Drive business development by creating and delivering business cases for changes to services and participation in the IT investment process
  • RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) ownership for in scope services
  • Drive management of key performance indicators, improvement plans and delivery of associated tasks
  • Identification and driving business opportunities and growth initiatives
  • Own processes associated with service
  • Service Cost Models to support growth
  • Direct/manage technical and business change within the service and customer base

Additional responsibilities

  • Delivery of service to SLAs
  • Production/review/approval of monthly management reports
  • Direct/interface with Context Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction with services delivered
  • Direct/develop and maintain effective relationships with key customer contacts, internal delivery units and 3rd party suppliers
  • Accountability for directing/managing/participation in major incident management

Person Specification

  • 8 years plus working in a Security Service environment & degree or equivalent level education in the follow topics
  • cyber/information/network security
  • computer science
  • Business management
  • other IT/security/network-related degrees.

Skills

  • Deep experience in ITIL service delivery
  • ITIL Expert certification or equivalent
  • Deep customer & delivery experience
  • Expert crisis management and providing leadership in such situations
  • Timely decision making and decision quality under pressure
  • Direction/management and business process skills and abilities;
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal;
  • Proactively builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Directs/makes informed decisions on selection and execution of all relevant approaches across a wide field, either in a management or advisory capacity.
  • Significant leadership capability.
  • Demonstrates effective communication, both orally and in writing, with subordinates, colleagues, clients and customers at all levels, both formally and informally.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organises and prioritise work and others in an effective manner
  • Critical ability to work under pressure and remain decisive

Location
The roles are based at our London Cheltenham and Edinburgh offices.
