Job Description: 

Novetta is seeking a Senior Program Director to lead and grow a multi-million dollar business unit focused on innovative systems engineering and software development solutions for Defense Intelligence and Security Enterprise clients.  This person will serve as the operations lead for several large projects centered around mission application software development, cloud engineering, cloud migration, and analytic services.  Although the role will be primarily focused on operations, the candidate will be expected to assist in business development efforts.  The candidate will be able to work partially remote balanced with routine presence in both client and company facilities in the Northern Virginia area. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain a positive atmosphere and technical culture focused on mission delivery for these critical programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Develops and establishes procedures and guidelines for daily operation of the assigned programs
• Keeps upper management informed regarding program status and any technical, cost, schedule or administrative problems within programs
• Establishes, maintains and promotes good client relationships
• Identifies, develops, and captures new business opportunities
• Establishes and maintains a positive and technical culture focused on mission delivery

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of prior experience as a technical program manager with programs of moderate size (25+ FTE)
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing multi-task contracts and managing expectations of senior Government clients
• 10+ years of experience capturing and growing business in the Intelligence Community market - either through formal capture and business development activity or through successful program execution

Desired Skills:

• Experience managing projects with Defense Intelligence or Security Enterprise clients
• Experience working with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command Headquarters, or one of the military services’ counterintelligence headquarters organizations
• Technical background in software development and/or systems/cloud engineering
• Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile development
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework processes required to gain Interim Authority To Test (IATT) and (ATO) Authority To Operate

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI
