Meet the team:

The cybersecurity team at Argo ensures that our ecosystem of internal infrastructure and our vehicle systems are protected from harmful attacks, unauthorized access, and anything else that could interfere with the safety of our employees or the operation of any self-driving vehicle.

What you’ll do: 

  • Hack our self driving stack and improve the security of our product with your detailed reports
  • Work with engineering teams to successfully plan your testing projects and deliver reports in time to our internal and external partners
  • Contribute fuzzing tests to our fuzzing cluster
  • Develop and execute security tests in order to ensure implementation of security features
  • Support the vulnerability management process with tooling and insides.
  • Write proof of concept exploits
  • Connect with research and hacker groups to stay up to date with modern attacks

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Robotics, etc
  • Experience in embedded systems penetration testing
  • Skilled in C or C++ and a scripting language
  • Ability to use static and dynamic analysis tools to evaluate software to find and remove vulnerabilities
  • Ability to develop and explain technical decisions and recommendations effectively with technical and non-technical audiences through verbal and written communications that lead to actionable and measurable improvements
  • Proven ability to perform meticulous work with careful attention to detail but performed in a very fast-paced and exciting environment to identify threats, defects and weaknesses in complex systems, and to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Passion for security and dedication to find new threats and vulnerabilities in a process heavy environment

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD build ecosystem
  • Experience in automotive cyber security
  • Strong knowledge of security design on all layers
  • Familiarity with incident response processes
  • Experience with open source whitebox fuzzing tools
  • Familiarity with ISO 21434 Automotive Security
