Here’s what you need to know about the Legal, Security, and Compliance team: Our group supports the sales and engineering teams with expertise in our specific domains. We help the sales team complete their sales process, and serves the customers who need to know specifics about how BlueCat handles Security and Compliance. We support the engineering team to know the design requirements that will make sure our systems, products, and customers are appropriately secured. Finally, we support any other BlueCat functions that have legal, security or compliance related issues.
BlueCat is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security team. BlueCat is a leading vendor of network infrastructure products (DNS, DHCP, IP-Address Management) and integrations for Medium to Large Enterprises.
The Cybersecurity Analyst understands IP networking, common protocols like DNS and DHCP, software development processes, and can review security advisories and code and clearly communicate the impact of issues, to developers, non-developers, and sometimes customers.The Cybersecurity Analyst focuses on supporting other teams with security questions, and does in-depth analysis of specific vulnerabilities or security and compliance controls. Experience with writing in scripting languages automate tasks is important. An ability to read code in languages like Java and C is highly beneficial.- Support penetration testing of products by setting up target systems, and answering questions from security testers- Analyze identified security vulnerabilities and assess impact and recommend identification, workarounds, and remediation steps.- Support and contribute to further security hardening of BlueCat products- Respond to technical questions about BlueCat’s security for legal and sales teamsYou might be an experienced security analyst with strong technical skills, or have strong technical background and an interest in entering the security field. Your scripting, code understanding ability, and strong communication skills are the key strengths required for this position.
