The Challenge

Qualtrics is looking for a full-time Proposals Security Specialist who has a strong background in both technical writing and information security. If you have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering), have 1-2 years experience in cybersecurity, have the ability to interpret and respond to high-level technical questions with simplified answers, familiarity with security certifications (SOC, HITRUST,  FedRamp) as well as industry standard security questionnaires (SIG, CAIQ), the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with respect to deadlines, and experience managing communication between multiple departments Qualtrics could be a perfect fit for you!

You’ll know you’re doing a great job when. You can interpret high-level questions while providing applicable answers, multitask, communicate with employees globally, and contribute to a pivotal role during the deal process!

A Day in the Life
  • Manage the entirety of the security questionnaire process throughout a deal: answering clients security questionnaires, communicating with specialty teams, and answering followup questions to meet deadlines 
  • Scope and prioritize new requests based on numerous factors that impact the security questionnaire process 
  • Create, edit, and modify security information content utilized by the Sales Department
  • Work closely with Sales Representatives during the deal process to understand the client’s needs and respond to questions accordingly
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the company to answer niche questions from specialized teams
  • Create Supplemental Documents using inDesign when security questions require a more indepth, personalized response
  • Work on multiple requests to meet the client’s deadlines while also aligning with the deadlines of internal teams
  • Assist the Proposals team with RFPs by answering security questions catered directly to that client’s needs
