The Role: You’ll specialize in delivering actionable Third Party Risk related Threat Intelligence to Recorded Future’s massive client base. 

Recorded Future supports information security, threat intelligence, and third party risk teams at some of the most ambitious organisations on the planet. You’ll work closely with teammates and clients to identify and deliver actionable third party risk findings and incidents. Other day to day activities include developing new service offerings and standard operating procedures and interacting directly with clients as a subject matter expert.

What you’ll do as a Threat Intelligence Response Analyst:

  • Cover Tier 2 Analyst Shift Hours from 9am-5pm EST as a Tier 2 Third Party Intelligence Analyst
  • Perform Tier 2 alert review/triage of escalated incidents and findings in areas such as: supplier/third party breaches, identification of vendor vulnerabilities and technical misconfigurations, service outages, and identification of high risk vendors
  • Provide timely results of incidents and findings; communicate recommended solutions to clients to enable them to make appropriate decisions
  • Partner with clients and effectively relay strategic and technical messages to stakeholders ranging from analysts to executives
  • Enhance existing managed third party intelligence services and contribute to development of new, related services 
  • Assist clients with use case development, query development, and alert tuning
  • Create new Standard Operating Procedures to assist Tier 1 and fellow Tier 2 analysts
  • Collaborate across internal and external teams on shared projects; prioritize effectively and maintain clear communication including documenting workflows and keeping stakeholders up to date on project status and timelines

What you’ll bring to the Threat Intelligence Response Analyst role:

  • 2+ years experience in threat intelligence, risk management, audit/compliance, cyber security or a closely-related field, and strong knowledge of cyber security principles
  • Ability to translate cyber threats, physical threats, and company related threat intelligence to frameworks including but not limited to: NIST SP 800-53, SP 800-161, and CSF
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (under normal circumstances)
