Role Background:You’ll manage and grow a team of analysts and engineers responsible for vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, endpoint security, network security, and incident detection/response at Attentive. 

Success in this role will require

• Management experience and a commitment to developing team members through mentorship and performance management
• A deep understanding of information security principles, and experience successfully applying these principles in a product and/or cloud-native company
• Experience designing and leading complex components of an information security program
• Experience using security tools (e.g. SIEMs, IDS/IPS systems, vulnerability scanners) and implementing sustainable, efficient, and highly automated workflows to address findings.

• At the Director level, you:
• Sets goals and context for the team and allows them to execute with minimal oversight.
• Cultivate leadership within the team, including an additional level of management where necessary.
• Are sought out for strategic and technical security guidance; you anticipate issues and make design decisions to avoid them.
• Are consistently able to reduce the complexity of projects in order to get more done with less work.
• Listen and guide debates to help reach a consensus.
• Have a proven track record of identifying, prioritizing and completing projects that have a meaningful impact on our security maturity.
