The Aviation Security (AvSec) team is seeking an experienced, innovative, and customer-obsessed Project Manager, Aviation Security Operations. The Project Manager will manage Security Operations projects and data, prepare analyses and reports that inform business decisions. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail oriented, inquisitive, and independent.
This role will partner closely with multiple teams to ensure that AvSec is able to solve complex problems and answer difficult questions using data. This individual prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review narratives and leads standing meetings and review boards.


Responsibilities Include:
· Tracking multiple projects through to completion while demonstrating ownership for outcomes and bias for action
· Implementing robust and repeatable data collection, storage, and reporting mechanisms
· Developing performance metrics and recommending performance goals based on statistical analysis
· Automating performance reporting dashboards
· Data mining existing data sources to assist in as hoc analyses
· Identifying and developing high-impact insights and data models
· Perform advanced modeling and statistical analysis
· Support the continued development of the business’s data infrastructure

Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field
· PMP-ACP certification
· 3+ years of experience in a BI, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or an Intelligence related field
· Experience with all Microsoft Office applications



Preferred Qualifications

· Master’s degree or higher in a related field or MBA
· 5+ years in relevant experience as project manager, data scientist, data engineer, software engineer, business intelligence engineer, or equivalent
· Proven analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
· Experience using reporting tools such as Tableau and analytical tools such as MiniTab, MATLAB, etc.
· Experience using AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, EC2, EMR and data pipelines
· Demonstrate ability to identify the customer expectation, adjusting language and style to suit the listener. Be solutions-focused, customer-focused, and always deliver excellent follow-up
· Ability to interact with all levels of leadership within the organization to drive consensus regarding new policies and procedures
· Demonstrable ability to proactively gather the right data from appropriate sources, while considering all of the facts and other perspectives

Travel
Domestic travel may be required up to 10% of the time
