The ‘EMEA Professional Services - Security Practice’ is looking for a UK based ‘Director of Security Consulting’ to support both its ‘Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Information Security Services’ as well as to support the growth of the Security Practice.
You will be a highly experienced PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), as well as an information security / cyber security consultant, with proven experience of working within complex operating environments.
You must have experience in leading a PCI Report on Compliance (ROC) as well as implementing an information security framework into an organisation, or helping an organisation to acquire its ISO27001 certification etc.
Besides PCI and Information Security experience, you will have knowledge of other security related services such as data protection, business continuity and cloud security etc.
You will be responsible for developing new services, and improving existing ones, and communicating these services to stakeholders.
As a Director of Consulting, you will sit on the Security Practice’s SLT and your focus will be both strategic and tactical. There will be an expectation on you to grow the Security Practice; to QA and oversight engagements and where required to lead and execute customer engagements.
As the Security Practice grows, you will manage a team of Security Consultants.You should be comfortable liaising with multiple key stakeholders at all levels.
You will possess qualifications such as CISM, CISSP and ISO27001 Lead Auditor or Implementor.
You will align to the needs of Rackspace customers; therefore, some engagements can be performed remotely whereas others will require you to be on-site with the customer (COVID-19 permitting).

Person Specification
- Proven experience of operating at a senior leadership level as well as within complex operating environments;
- Capability to think both strategically and tactically;
- Possesses excellent presentation skills, both written and orally;
- Excellent technical knowledge of security and how it can be commercialised;
- Flawless execution; an impeccable attention to detail and timely delivery;
- Provides objective and valuable advisory that builds long-term relationships with our customers;
- Honesty and integrity, which is underpinned by trust;
- The ability to lead and work on own initiative or as part of a team;
- Evidence of developing business relationships with ‘heads of business or function’ or ‘C level’ leaders;
- Goes above and beyond to get the job done;

- Possesses relevant professional qualifications.
Key Performance Indicators
- Security Practice Revenue and EBITDA target;
- Onboarding of Net new customers;
- Customer retention (Churn);
- Customer Net Promoter Score (NPS);
- Minimum Training Hours (mandatory and optional); and
- 360 feedback from internal stakeholders.
