About the Role

As a Team Leader in the Datacom business, your role will encompass responsibility for the performance, productivity, development, and sustainability of your people. You will be accountable for providing leadership and guidance to a team of skilled professionals, and providing services and solutions in all areas of Cybersecurity, with focus in particular on our Citadel Services Division.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the outcome advocate, relishes people leadership and has a passion for Cybersecurity. Ideal for someone who is looking to develop their leadership capabilities and assist in the operational and strategic management of our Cybersecurity Advisory Practice based either in Wellington or Auckland.

We’re looking for passion, ambition, and a depth and breadth of core knowledge as well as the adaptability to ever changing market demands.

What you’ll do

• Mentoring, coaching, developing, and optimising of staff to achieve their full capability
• Be a leader in the business through the promotion of innovation, service, and delivery enhancement and with a focus on future sustainability
• Planning, development and implementation of processes and systems around quality management, process improvement and delivery of best practise
• Planning, development and implementation of the Citadel portfolio of Microsoft based security services including:

o Endpoint Protection, Detection and Response using Defender ATP
o Email Protection using Office 365 ATP
o SOC/SIEM using Sentinel o Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) using MCAS
o Development of new security services based on additional Microsoft capabilities such as Azure Information Protection, Azure Identity Protection etc

• Delivery of the Citadel Services in collaboration with the broader Datacom teams including CDOC, Intelligent Workplace and Cloud Platform Services
• Develop and nurture our relationship with Microsoft as a strategic security vendor in our portfolio

• Be responsible for the team with direction and focus enabling business growth and personal development for team members

What you’ll bring

• Proven knowledge to a high degree of cybersecurity technologies and be able to converse with a diverse range of customer and company staff and be a thought leader in their field.
• Knowledge to a high degree of Cloud technologies, AWS/Azure and the Microsoft security capabilities across M365 and Azure
• Experience in leading and develop a team of professionals
• Experience in IT outsourcing or professional services organisations
• Significant experience in the Cybersecurity industry, in particular the provision of consulting and technical services
• Experience in an organisation driven by service, delivery, and outcomes
• Disciplined approach to governance
• Experience in Service Management/ ITIL
• CISSP or equivalent security certifications
• Technical and/ or architectural professional qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role/ Senior Technical capacity.
