The Basics: 

Tanium is searching for a highly motivated Identity & Access Management Engineer to drive consistency, automation, and rapid adoption of new capabilities within our use of various IAM technologies. 

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the primary administrator and SME for Tanium’s Okta implementation
  • Configure and support peripheral IAM technologies including Active Directory, Duo, GroupID Automate, etc.
  • Support Tanium IT & Security teams as an escalation resource for SSO and two-factor authentication issues
  • Extensively document Okta administrative processes and enable other members of the IT team to better support our use of IAM technologies
  • Embrace Kanban for managing and prioritizing work
  • Research and recommend new technologies and innovative automation
  • Collaborate closely with business groups as well as other IT functions including Business Systems, Information Security, GRC, and Helpdesk

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or other relevant degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience
    • 3+ years experience performing workflow design, automation, and scripting
    • 3+ years experience with Okta, Active Directory and Azure Active Directory including user and group object management, synchronization, custom attributes
    • Experience with Bash and/or PowerShell
    • Experience with Imanami GroupID (preferred)
    • Experience with Kanban
