We’re looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to apply your knowledge in the cybersecurity and space domain and impact our nation’s security.
In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to the United States Space Force (USSF).
This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for the USSF. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:
5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity field performing cyber engineering, cyber risk assessments, or cyber authorization activities
Experience with utilizing eMASS as an information system risk management tracking tool, ACAS Nessus, and SCAP Compliance Checker
Experience with executing cyber risk assessment and authorization processes for complex programs and systems, including the Risk Management Framework(RMF)
Experience analyzing cyber vulnerabilities, assessing system compliance against security controls, and developing risk mitigation plans and strategies
Experience writing and managing RMF body of evidence documents, including System Security Plan, Security Compliance Traceability Matrix, Risk Assessment Report, Continuous Monitoring Plan, and Security Assessment Plans and Procedures (SAPP)
Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides and methodologies for applying to system design
Ability to analyze cybersecurity authorization documentation and artifacts, including policies, standard operating procedures, and security plans
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes
Experience with integrating cybersecurity into a major DoD information system throughout the system development lifecycle, including acquisition, development, production, operations, and sustainment
Experience with developing cybersecurity risk assessment processes and procedures
Experience analyzing network configurations and network architecture diagrams
Experience generating process improvement changes for improved and efficient operations
Ability to work with network engineers to implement secure network architectures
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree
CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
